In their own words
Asteroom
Asteroom creates smartphone-based 3D virtual tours for real estate agents and photographers, using an app, hardware and an online photo editor. Users can capture panoramas in the app or upload an album to generate a tour. Tours pair a 3D dollhouse with 360-degree navigation and a bird’s-eye view, and interactive 2D floor plans show room dimensions. Asteroom names Ricoh Theta S, SC, V and Z1 and Insta360 ONE X as integrated cameras; other 360-degree photos can be imported if they have a 2:1 aspect ratio. Tours can sync with realtor.com and Zillow, and the workflow includes MLS and Realtor.com integration. Android, iOS and web access are listed. The free Basic Plan requires an Asteroom Pano Kit or 360 camera. Professional costs $39.90 a month, while the Imaging Package costs $59 and includes up to 30 panoramas and 180 days of hosting. When a subscription expires, tours are archived and no longer public until renewal.
Cupix
Cupix is an AI-powered as-built 4D digital twin platform for contractors and owners. It turns standard 360° footage into mesh-based 3D maps and panoramic virtual tours, using cloud processing to reconstruct walking paths and place video frames in a spatial model. CupixWorks creates as-built maps and tours that record project conditions over time. Teams can take measurements, add notes, RFIs, punch lists, and asset details in 3D space, and share bookmarked views. The platform compares as-built conditions with BIM models; SiteInsights uses computer vision and geometry to detect changes between captures and track progress against BIM and schedules. Cupix also lists integrations including Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, Revizto, Oracle, and ArcGIS. Its security features include encryption at rest and in transit, two-factor authentication, granular permissions, and audit logging. Cupix says it holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and CSA STAR certifications. Apps cover Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, alongside web access. Pricing depends on project size and scope and is available through the sales team; no plan price is listed.
