In their own words
AttenQR
AttenQR is an attendance system for classes that uses QR codes to record check-ins and enroll students. Students scan the daily attendance code, and teachers see check-ins appear in real time; a separate permanent code lets students join a course. Teachers can share courses with other teacher accounts to manage attendance together, then export records to CSV. The service is available on Android, iOS, and the web, and supports English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. It has a free plan at free, while a one-time payment of 9.99 USD removes ads permanently; that premium status is tied to a user account and cannot be transferred. Ads are shown through Google AdMob, and the maker says attendance may not be recorded if a student closes the ad after scanning before it finishes. Course and attendance information is kept in US Firebase Cloud Firestore with encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. Data is automatically deleted 30 days after a course ends, so teachers can export it beforehand.
