AudioBookByMe turns documents and scanned pages into audiobook-quality MP3 audio using AI text-to-speech. It accepts PDF, EPUB and plain text files, as well as scanned PDFs and JPG or PNG book-page photos, which it processes with OCR. Its parser can identify chapter headings and skip contents, copyright and index sections. The catalog contains 66 AI voices in 8 languages; voice cloning uses a 10-second sample and supports any accent or language. A pronunciation dictionary lets users save word-replacement corrections for reuse across chapters. Audio is processed in mono at 44.1 kHz and 192 kbps CBR, with loudness normalized to -23 LUFS. AudioBookByMe says its ACX-ready files can be published to Audible, Apple Books, Google Play, Spotify and Findaway.
