AuditFile vs Caseware Working Papers

AuditFile is a cloud platform for audits, reviews, and compilations, combining methodology, risk assessment, trial balance, workpapers, reporting, and AI. It includes industry-specific audit programs and planning documents, and firms can load custom programs. Trial balance imports are listed for QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite, alongside Microsoft Office 365 integration and Excel and Word add-ins. The product overview lists real-time dashboards and notifications, firm analytics, target tracking, and one-click financial statement generation. AuditFile says data is encrypted at rest and in transit, backups run nightly, and data is replicated across at least three AWS data centers. It reports a SOC 2 Type II examination and says it complies with GDPR and NIST 800-53 Revision 5. Authentication options include multifactor authentication, SSO, SAML, Active Directory, and LDAP. The Professional plan costs $179 a month per user with a one-year agreement, billed monthly; Pro Plus costs $249 a month per user on the same term. A 14-day trial is available.
