In their own words
Authonex
Authonex is an identity verification platform available through the web, an API, or self-hosting. It scans identity documents, screens watch lists, compares faces with ID photos, and issues digital IDs. Document checks cover format, barcode integrity, security features, expiry, revocation, field consistency, and fraud indicators. Digital IDs are cryptographically signed and can be shown as QR codes that refresh every 60 seconds. Zero-knowledge proofs can confirm claims such as age without exposing the underlying personal data. Risk tools include behavioral analysis, device fingerprinting, threat intelligence, real-time scoring, custom rules, and blocklists. The security page describes AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and hybrid Ed25519 and Falcon-512 signatures. Authonex states it is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. Its open-source software is available under the MIT license for customer servers. Cloud verification costs $0.05, paid once. The free allowance is unclear: the homepage lists 100 verifications per month, while developer documentation lists 1,000.
