In their own words
Auto Browser
Auto Browser is a free Chrome extension that uses an AI agent in the browser’s side panel. It reads a webpage’s accessibility tree and can click, type, scroll, navigate, fill forms, and handle research tasks described in plain English. Pages exposing WebMCP tools can let it use those tools instead of the page DOM. Supported providers include Chrome Built-in AI (Gemini Nano), Google Gemini, OpenRouter, and local OpenAI-compatible endpoints such as Ollama and LM Studio. You can change providers during a conversation without losing its history. Write actions require approval, arbitrary JavaScript prompts for approval, and banking, government, and healthcare origins are blocked by default. The extension is free to install at free; Google Gemini and OpenRouter charge per request using your API key. Chrome 126 or newer is required for basic use. Attachments can be images or audio up to 10 MB each.
Muse
Muse is a personal AI agent for handling tasks and projects and turning longer-term goals into action plans. It can keep working after the app closes, then return when something changes or it needs approval. The agent can browse websites, fill forms, complete transactions, and create documents, PDFs, web pages, and interactive artifacts. Its small-business page lists connections to services including Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe, Zoom, and social platforms. Muse requests approval for sensitive actions such as sending email or making purchases, and displays an audit trail of activity and planned actions. Users can choose connected apps and access levels, disconnect services, opt out of model training, or ask Muse to forget specific information. It runs on a dedicated cloud virtual machine, with a separate Sentinel controlling connector actions and network access. The free plan has a periodically refreshed usage limit. Power costs $20 a month and Maximum costs $100 a month. Subscriptions are in limited testing and not available everywhere; Muse for Small Business is available to people in the US and Canada who are 18 and over.
