AutoAlt.ai uses AI to generate contextual alt text for product and website images, with SEO and accessibility compliance in scope. Its AI recognizes categories, brands, colors, and attributes and can incorporate relevant long-tail keywords. The service supports more than 120 languages, bulk upload, plugins, and API access. The Developer API accepts image URLs or Base64 images, along with SEO keywords, custom prompts, writing styles, and language choices. Listed integrations include Shopware, WordPress/WooCommerce, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Shopify, PrestaShop, TYPO3, Chrome, and Firefox. The documentation says images are processed but not stored; the homepage says image data alone is sent to OpenAI and Google for processing, without personal data or metadata. Supported formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, SVG, HEIC, GIF, BMP, and AVIF; each image must be under 16 MB and at least 50×50 pixels.
