In their own words

Autodesk Fusion

Autodesk Fusion is a CAD and design application available on Windows, macOS, and the web. Listed capabilities include parametric modeling, sculpting, animation, rendering, and 3D-print export. The paid Autodesk Fusion plan combines integrated CAD/CAM, real-time team collaboration, PCB design and electromechanical integration, and drawing automation with design configuration. That plan costs $57 per user per month, billed annually, and a 30-day trial is listed. A free plan is also available. Fusion for personal use is intended for hobbyist users and non-commercial projects but has limited functionality; no price is listed. Fusion for educational use lists full features and functionality for qualifying students and educators, also without a listed price. Autodesk was founded in 1982 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Platform access is listed as both, and the render engine is also listed as both. The available plans separate paid professional use, limited personal projects, and qualifying educational access.

Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM

Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM is a cloud application for managing enterprise product data and lifecycle work, from idea and design through launch, commercialization, and post-launch activity. Its core areas are Product Management, Innovation Management, Quality Management, and Configuration Modeling. It manages items, bills of material, documents, requirements, changes, quality workflows, manufacturers, variants, formulas, catalogs, and configuration models. Built-in AI and agentic applications assist with product data, compliance questions, manufacturer onboarding, workflow guidance, component replacement, product comparison, and design-to-source work. The Design-to-Source workspace can use uploaded CAD designs to create sourcing items and RFQs and assess suppliers; the exact tools and connectors depend on the environment. Oracle says PLM connects lifecycle activity with its SCM, CX, and ERP systems, though integration details also vary. Product lifecycle data can use criteria-based access controls. AI offers recommendations and generated content, while lifecycle decisions remain subject to review and configured approvals. Product Management Cloud Service includes Product Hub and PLM features; without that license, other Oracle Cloud service customers have only basic item-management capabilities. Pricing is on request.
