Avatar SDK Avatar API
Avatar SDK Avatar API turns a photo into a rigged 3D avatar through a REST API. It offers realistic or cartoon styles and head or full-body pipelines, returning GLB, glTF or FBX models with facial blendshapes. Full-body avatars also include a skeleton and are compatible with Mixamo animations and real-time lip-sync through LiveSpeak. The output is described as compatible with Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, three.js and Babylon.js. Full-body generation takes about 40 seconds and runs asynchronously: an application submits a photo and polls for the completed model. The API can run as a hosted cloud service or on-premise using Local Compute inside customer infrastructure. Enterprise Cloud REST API access is priced according to customer volume; a 7-day trial is listed, with no free plan. Access uses OAuth 2.0 tokens. Documented limits are 75 requests per minute per unique PlayerUID in Client access mode and 150 per minute per account in Developer access mode. The maker recommends clear, front-facing photos with even lighting and a neutral expression or slight smile.
