Overview

Autopilot links lead capture, job scheduling, customer messages, payments, reviews, and follow-ups. The combination is useful for businesses that want a connected workflow from initial inquiry through completed job and customer follow-up, rather than separate tools for each stage. Scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing, online booking, automated texts, time tracking, and reporting cover much of a service company's day-to-day operation.

That breadth is also a consideration: a business looking only for a simple booking tool may not need the wider CRM and communications package. Teams with multiple locations have an Enterprise Plan option, with custom pricing.

Key features

Jobs and payments

Scheduling and dispatch pair with estimates, online approval, invoicing, online booking, and payment processing. Run includes Tap to Pay and card readers, so even the entry plan covers key payment workflows alongside job management. Equipment tracking and route optimization are also part of the product's capabilities, extending its relevance to operators coordinating assets and field routes.

Communications and automation

Automated job and estimate texts are included in Run. Grow adds a two-way messaging inbox and a phone system with recording, which is a meaningful step up for teams that need to manage customer conversations rather than just send automated updates. Scale adds an AI Receptionist and call summaries, plus Zapier integration and an open API with webhooks for connecting workflows to other software.

Named direct integrations include Stripe, QuickBooks, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Calendar, Google Local Services Ads, Facebook Ads, and Bing Ads. Zapier connects Autopilot to more than 9,000 apps, giving Scale users a broader route for integrations beyond those direct connections.

Mobile and desktop work

The iPhone and Android apps support jobs, scheduling, GPS, calling, texting, payments, photos, and time tracking. That gives field staff a substantial set of operational tools without limiting the workflow to the office. Native desktop apps for Mac and Windows support business calls and texts, complementing the mobile tools for office-side communication.

Pricing

Autopilot has no free plan. Every plan starts with a free two-week trial; customers can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. The listed monthly prices are:

Plan	Price	Included users	Best fit
Run	49.00 USD per month	1	Solo operators needing scheduling, jobs, estimates, invoicing, online booking, and automated texts
Grow	119.00 USD per month	3	Small teams that need a two-way messaging inbox, recorded calls, time tracking, and review management
Scale	299.00 USD per month	8	Larger teams that need AI call handling, expanded integrations, QuickBooks, and live GPS tracking
Enterprise Plan	Custom pricing	Not stated	Companies with multiple locations

Run keeps the starting cost lower but is limited to one included user and lacks the inbox and full phone system added in Grow. Grow raises the allowance to three users and adds tools for customer communication and labor tracking. Scale costs more, but its eight included users, 300 AI Receptionist minutes per month, QuickBooks integration, and live GPS tracking are aimed at teams with more complex needs.

Scale also includes 1,500 VoIP minutes and 1,500 SMS messages monthly, plus 100 SMS blast sends and 1,000 email sends. Overage charges apply at listed rates, so businesses with heavy calling or messaging should account for usage as well as subscription cost. Additional users cost $29/month per user, making the included seat counts an important part of comparing plans.

Platforms

Autopilot is available on Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows, and the web, and it supports API access. Mobile coverage is especially substantial for field teams, while native Mac and Windows apps support business calls and texts from a desktop.

Who it's for

Autopilot is a strong match for home-service businesses that need scheduling, dispatch, estimates, payments, field coordination, and customer follow-up in a single platform. Run suits a solo operator; Grow is a more practical fit when several users need access and customer conversations require a shared inbox and phone system. Scale is better suited to larger operations that can use its AI receptionist, integration options, and higher seat allowance. Businesses with multiple locations can explore custom-priced Enterprise.

It is less compelling for a business that needs only a basic booking or invoicing tool, or for a team whose calls and messages would regularly exceed the included monthly allowances.

Pros and cons

Pros: A wide workflow spans lead capture, jobs, payments, reviews, and follow-ups, which can reduce the need to divide routine service work across separate systems.
Pros: Mobile apps support field tasks including GPS, payments, photos, and time tracking, while desktop apps handle business calls and texts.
Pros: The paid tiers make the progression clear: Run covers core operations, Grow adds team communications, and Scale adds AI and broader integration tools.
Cons: There is no free plan, and the lowest-cost plan includes just one user.
Cons: Additional users cost $29/month per user, so adding staff raises the bill beyond the plan price.
Cons: Scale's monthly communications allowances and overage charges require active monitoring for businesses with high call or message volume.

Alternatives

For businesses that want a no-cost starting point, Fieldified has a free plan with scheduling, invoicing, CRM, and reporting, though usage limits apply; Autopilot instead starts with a paid plan and a two-week trial. ArborNote starts at 75.00 USD per month for one crew leader, making it worth comparing for a one-crew operation that does not need Autopilot's specific plan structure. Arb Pro charges 10.00 GBP per month plus VAT for each additional mobile user and 25.00 GBP per month plus VAT for each additional desktop user; compare its user costs with Autopilot's $29/month additional-user rate.

ArbM8 has a 720.00 GBP one-time setup option, with a ServiceM8 subscription not included. ArborSmart starts at 60.00 USD per month for one crew and includes unlimited customers, jobs, and users. ClearCut Compliance offers a 19.00 GBP per month RAMS-only option for one to two users, or a 29.00 GBP per month Solo plan for its platform. Forester UVM is another paid option with pricing available by requesting a demo. Servgrow offers annual plans, including PLUS at 32.00 USD per year for one to three users and PRO at 228.00 USD per year for one user.

Verdict

Choose Autopilot if you run a home-service business and want job operations, customer communication, payments, and follow-up connected across office and field teams. Its main advantage is the breadth of that workflow, backed by mobile tools and progressively richer team features. Look elsewhere if you need a free plan, expect to add many users at low cost, or regularly exceed the included communications allowances.
