AutoShow
AutoShow is a free, MIT-licensed full-stack application for AI processing of audio and video. It accepts direct uploads and can extract audio from YouTube videos and streaming platforms. Transcription options include Groq Whisper, DeepInfra, YouTube Captions, and HappyScribe, with automatic speaker diarization. OpenAI GPT, Claude, and Google Gemini can produce episode descriptions, summaries, and chapters. The project also documents text-to-speech with OpenAI or ElevenLabs voices, generated cover images, and background music through ElevenLabs. It is available as a web interface, API, or self-hosted deployment, with Docker support and localhost:4321 as the documented local address. API endpoints cover health checks, jobs, models, processing, uploads, and media processing. Production documentation describes source-URL SSRF validation, USD cost estimates before jobs, structured JSON logs, and optional HTTP log forwarding. Google Drive OAuth setup remains manual.
Podlink
Podlink is podcast analytics and post-production software that works with an existing host and RSS feed. Its free plan provides OP3 download analytics without an episode cap, listener app and country breakdowns, and a podlink.fm page containing listening-app links, recent RSS episodes, and user-added links. The service reads public RSS feeds and connects with OP3, YouTube, and Claude or other MCP-capable assistants. Paid tools include an Episode Content Kit that drafts show notes, titles, descriptions, newsletters, and social posts from transcripts. Users approve those drafts before publication. Pro adds automatic transcription for new episodes, tracked links, episode pages, templates, and multilingual output; transcription credits are metered and episodes are selected by the user. Pro costs $29 a month, with annual billing listed at $232. Studio costs $99 a month, or $990 annually, and adds unlimited shows, client workspaces, branded reports, and viewer seats, but is not self-serve yet. Each account currently supports one connected show. The Claude connector and analytics reads are free on every plan, but connecting requires Claude Pro or higher.
