Overview

Quizbot turns uploaded material or a topic into quizzes and tests with answer keys. It accepts documents, links, videos, images, text and audio, then offers question formats from multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank to calculations, matching and mixed sets. That breadth is useful when material comes in different forms, although the free tier’s 10-question batch limit makes larger quiz creation less convenient.

Key features

Rather than stopping at quiz generation, Quizbot offers concept-level performance feedback, personalized study plans, AI explanations, spaced-repetition reviews and daily practice sessions. This combination suits learners who want to use quizzes as part of a continuing revision routine, not just produce a one-off test. Notebook lets users upload course materials and chat with an AI assistant described as trained on them; the free plan’s single notebook and two-source cap will suit a trial or one course better than a broad library.

Exports include Word and PDF, plus Google Classroom, Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Kahoot and Aiken. Teachers can move quizzes into several classroom or quiz workflows, while learners can keep a document copy. Quizbot says uploaded files are parsed into a temporary cache, sent to its AI model and removed after questions are created. Its privacy policy describes SSL/TLS encryption in transit, restricted access, PCI-compliant payment providers, GDPR rights for EU, EEA and UK users, and immediate deletion of account data with encrypted backups retained for up to 30 days.

Pricing

The Free plan costs $0 forever and provides 50 questions per month, one Notebook with up to two sources, and 10 questions per batch. It needs no credit card, but the monthly quota and small batch size make it best for occasional use or evaluation rather than steady course-wide practice.

Standard Plan is $7.50 per month for 2,000 questions and 50 high-quality images. Pro Plan is $12.50 per month for unlimited questions and 100 high-quality images, while Educator Plan is $18.50 per month for unlimited questions and 300 high-quality images. Standard is the lower-cost step up for regular use with a defined quota; Pro removes that question cap, and Educator adds a larger image allowance for heavier classroom use. The plans are priced monthly, so readers should choose according to expected volume and image needs rather than assuming the entry paid tier is unlimited.

Three one-time question packages are also offered: 2,000 questions and 50 high-quality images, valid for six months, and 4,000 questions and 100 high-quality images, valid for six months, both with custom pricing; or 10,000 questions, valid for six months, for $70.00 per one-time payment. These suit buyers wanting a finite allotment rather than a monthly subscription, though the first two package prices cannot be compared directly with the subscription tiers.

Platforms

Quizbot runs on Android, iOS and the web, giving users both mobile apps and browser access. The maker links to its apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Support is directed through its Help Center and info@quizbot.ai.

Who it's for

Students, tutors and teachers are the clearest fit: students can combine generated questions with spaced review, while educators can create and export quizzes for learning platforms. Schools, companies and other organizations are also among the audiences Quizbot serves, though the strongest practical case is for teams or individuals who will use both generation and study features. Someone needing only a small number of simple quizzes may find the free caps or broader feature set unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Broad source and question support: accepts many common study inputs and generates varied question styles, reducing the need to reformat material first.
Study tools beyond generation: feedback, plans, explanations and spaced repetition support continued practice rather than a single quiz session.
Useful export range: Word, PDF and several classroom or quiz destinations give educators multiple ways to reuse generated content.
Free plan is tightly bounded: 50 questions monthly, one two-source Notebook and batches of 10 are limiting for regular or multi-course work.
Paid tiers differ by quota and image allowance: buyers should match use to the 2,000-question Standard cap or pay more for unlimited questions.

Alternatives

Readers comparing options can browse AI Quiz Generators or AI Study Tools. Pick PDFQuiz instead if a document-focused option with a free allowance of three quizzes, ten questions each, and up to 20 pages per quiz better matches occasional use. IntelliAssess may suit educators prioritizing explicit student-count and model question quotas, with its free plan capped at 25 students. QuizFlight is worth considering for live sessions where participant limits matter; its free session starts at up to 20 participants and then allows up to five. PDFNoob is a free alternative for readers seeking broader PDF utilities rather than Quizbot’s study workflow. QuizFlex AI, QuizPilot, Dende and Revisely are other listed options to compare.

Verdict

Quizbot is a good fit for students, tutors and educators who want varied quiz generation tied to structured revision and flexible exports. Its strongest reason to choose it is the combination of broad inputs, multiple question formats and follow-up study tools. Look elsewhere if you need generous free capacity: the 50-question monthly allowance, 10-question batches and one small Notebook make the free plan more of a sampler than a durable study workspace.
