In their own words
Avaza
Avaza combines project collaboration, team chat, resource scheduling, time and expense tracking, and customer invoicing. Projects offer Kanban, Gantt, and List views, along with budgets, filters, grouping, and conversion of emails into tasks. Scheduling tools show team availability, support drag-and-drop assignments and leave and public-holiday planning, and forecast utilization. Expense tools include receipt capture and digitization, approvals, and recurring expenses. Users can convert estimates into branded invoices, set recurring or retainer invoices, and accept cards, digital wallets, and bank direct debits. Avaza provides more than 50 customizable real-time reports that can be saved and scheduled for delivery. It says it integrates with over 500 apps, including Xero, Stripe, GitHub, Google Workspace, and Dropbox. The service is available across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices; its chat has native apps for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac. The free plan limits users, active projects, invoices and bills, and storage. Startup costs $11.95 per month, billed monthly.
Clockify
Clockify is a time-tracking and project tool with a timer, timesheets, calendar, automatic tracker, kiosk, reports, invoicing, expenses, approvals, rates, and projects. The free plan costs nothing, supports up to five users, and includes unlimited time tracking. Its automatic tracker records apps and websites, with activity visible only to the individual user. Clockify offers access on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Android, and iOS. Integrations include Outlook, Google Calendar, Asana, Trello, Jira, ClickUp, and Salesforce, among 80+ web apps. Paid plans start at $3.99 a month billed annually; a seven-day trial is advertised. Enterprise includes single sign-on, custom subdomains, SCIM provisioning, account controls, and audit logs. Clockify says subscriptions can be canceled anytime and support is available 24 hours a day, including holidays.
