In their own words
AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry
AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry brings door access control and video management together. It accepts cards, PINs, static or dynamic QR codes, license plate recognition, and mobile credentials through QR code or Bluetooth. Operators can associate doors with cameras, compare cardholder photos with live or recorded video, and review door events. Security controls include end-to-end encrypted communication, lockdown, duress PINs, multi-factor authentication, a two-person rule, and measures against tailgating and anti-passback. The system supports up to 1,000 doors per server and 50,000 credentials; one interface can manage 64 servers and 1,000 doors. It provides roll call and mustering reports and supports attendance tracking. Open APIs can connect it with other systems, including time and attendance monitoring. Secure Entry is built into AXIS Camera Station Pro, preloaded on Axis recorders, and available under standalone licenses. The product page offers AXIS Camera Station Pro as a free full 90-day trial. Secure Entry is paid, with pricing on request.
Spot AI
Spot AI turns existing camera systems into AI agents for security, safety, and operations. Agents observe activity, assess it against goals or standard operating procedures, and trigger real-time responses. The system combines a cloud dashboard with an Intelligent Video Recorder that performs AI processing on the edge and stores video locally 24/7. Spot AI says it works with existing IP cameras, including systems providing an RTSP stream. Agents support security deterrence, operations optimization, and safety or SOP compliance; Iris lets users ask cameras questions in plain language and receive reports. Listed capabilities include real-time alerts, object detection, behavior and event detection, industry templates, and a REST API for camera and intelligence data, automation, and integrations. Integrations include services such as Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Okta, Brivo, and Rinsed. Spot AI states that video is encrypted at rest and in transit with AES-128, with role-based access and SSO/SAML. The free tier costs nothing and provides dashboard access with limited video-analysis volume, excluding hardware and Spot AI Support. Paid services have pricing on request, and a 15-day trial is listed.
