Genea Submeter Billing
Genea Submeter Billing helps property managers, building engineers, tenants, and building teams collect utility readings and create invoices. It works with networked and non-networked buildings. For networked properties, it connects to a building management system and sends readings to a dashboard; collection can be daily, hourly, or every 15 minutes. For non-networked meters, users scan a QR code and upload a meter photo with a smartphone. Supported meter types include electric, BTU, gas, water, pulse, and data. Dashboards let users search and view individual meters, sort by building or site, and manage multiple buildings. Consumption data can be exported to Excel or CSV and shared with tenants. Alerts flag readings outside a normal range projected from historical trends and seasonal adjustments. Genea supports existing hardware and connects to BMS or metering networks over an encrypted connection. Its billing team compiles customer data each month and prepares invoices for properties and tenants. The Submeter Billing mobile app is available for iPhone and Android. Pricing is on request.
