In their own words
Azure Logic Apps
Azure Logic Apps is a managed integration platform for automating workflows, connecting data, and coordinating processes across cloud and on-premises environments. A visual designer, prebuilt templates, and organizational templates support building and reusing workflows. The service offers more than 1,400 prebuilt connectors, and users can create their own. Workflows can include Python, .NET, PowerShell, or JavaScript, and can be built, tested, debugged, and run locally in Visual Studio Code. An Automated Test Framework supports mocked actions and workflow assertions. Logic Apps can also orchestrate AI agents, including multi-agent handoffs and nested hierarchies, and has Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search connectors. B2B and EDI operations support large payloads and formats such as EDIFACT, X12, AS2, RosettaNet, and SWIFT. Consumption workflows run in multi-tenant Azure, while Standard is single-tenant; Hybrid runs workflows on customer-managed infrastructure. Consumption meters triggers, actions, and connector executions; Standard uses hosting-plan pricing, with possible Azure Storage transaction charges for stateful workflows. The listed plans have no prices. Azure says users can try Azure free for up to 30 days.
Make
Make is a visual platform for integrating apps and automating workflows. Its no-code builder uses drag-and-drop modules, and automations can also be created in code or from a prompt. Scenarios support conditional flow control, data manipulation, HTTP requests, webhooks, notes, and analytics. Make lists more than 3,000 pre-built apps and integrations, along with custom apps and connections to public APIs. AI options include agents, tools, Maia natural-language automation building, and more than 300 AI app integrations. Each scenario action consumes credits, with some AI-provider features using more. The Free plan costs nothing and includes up to 1,000 credits monthly, two active scenarios, and a 15-minute minimum scheduled-run interval; it has no time limit and requires no credit card. Core is listed at $9 a month. Android and iOS apps can monitor phone events and perform device actions. Make lists GDPR, SOC 3, and SOC 2 Type II compliance, encryption, and single sign-on. It was founded in 2015 and is part of Celonis.
