In their own words

Backhouse

Backhouse is a web-based real estate platform for agents, teams, and brokerages, with an AI assistant and transaction coordination tools. It tracks deadlines, organizes documents and inbox threads, and drafts client replies for user review. Its CRM logs email conversations, updates contact records, and shows each transaction’s stage, people, and key dates. Clients can use a link to see deal status, next steps, closing date, and documents involving them without logging in. The portal supports signing through a private link with phone-code verification; each step is recorded and the final PDF is sealed. Backhouse checks files against brokerage requirements for issues such as missing signatures, incomplete forms, mismatched names or dates, and missing addenda. Users can ask the assistant by text, email, or app; text messages can include links, voice notes, photos, and screenshots. Email monitoring, calendar scheduling, MLS access, and property search are listed among included features. The plan costs $79 a month per seat and includes 500 AI tasks per seat monthly; additional tasks cost $0.12 each, with a spending cap available. The first 10 days are free.

ListedKit

ListedKit is a web-based real estate transaction-management platform centered on Ava, an AI assistant. Ava reads purchase agreements from any state, including handwritten contracts, and extracts dates, parties, and contingencies without templates or setup. It matches incoming email to the correct deal using context, builds a live action list from deadlines and contingencies, and can draft or reply to messages and schedule reminders. At intake, Ava checks documents for missing signatures, mismatched dates, and blank fields, then tracks compliance through closing. Integrations include Gmail, Outlook, Follow Up Boss, Google Calendar, and Outlook Calendar. Teams can work with Ava simultaneously, set custom permissions, and view active transactions, overdue items, and weekly task completion in an admin dashboard. Transaction credits cost $14.99 as a one-time purchase, with package rates from 14.00 USD to $11 per credit; one credit covers one transaction stage. Ava Sign costs $29.99 a month per user.
