In their own words

BagEvent

BagEvent provides event websites, registration, ticketing and payments, on-site check-in and badges, and reports for conferences, corporate events, and trade shows. It runs on the web, Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. Staff check-in apps can scan an event roster downloaded in advance and sync queued check-ins when the connection returns. Ticket sales carry a 0% platform fee and settle to the organizer’s own Stripe or PayPal account. Pro costs $99/month billed annually or $129/month billed monthly, and includes five events per month, up to 1,000 attendees per event, five team members, and one custom domain. Business costs $479/month billed annually or $599/month billed monthly, with an API and webhooks. The API reads attendee and order information but cannot create registrations or change orders; the service has no built-in one-click CRM connectors. A 14-day Pro trial requires no credit card, though paid-ticket use is limited to 50 registrations, $10 per order, and $500 total. Organizer and attendee data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in Singapore. BagEvent says it holds no security certification.

Gythr

Gythr is a web-based event management platform for conference organizers, associations and teams running multi-track events. Gate covers ticket tiers, registration forms, Stripe payments, QR check-in, sale windows, promo codes and waitlists. Agenda provides drag-and-drop scheduling, multiple tracks, personal schedules with conflict detection and calendar export. Stage handles speaker rosters, portals, proposal review and session assignments, including creating assignments when proposals are accepted. Link adds AI-powered attendee matching, meeting scheduling, an activity feed and icebreaker suggestions. Attendees use Gythr Here in a browser without an app-store download; its optional Comfort Mode provides a simplified next-session view, social energy controls and simpler navigation. The Free plan costs nothing and allows up to four events annually and 250 attendees per event, with a 3.5% fee on paid tickets plus Stripe processing. Free-plan data remains live for 90 days after an event and then archives; Data Vault keeps it warm for $100/year. The Event plan is $2,995 per event, while annual Business costs $9,990/year. Gythr describes the platform as built for conferences of 500–5,000 people.
