Overview

The Core CRM brings events, leads, customers, invoices, venues, menus and team management into one product. Event records include booking timelines, venue and team assignments, conflict detection and PDF exports; lead management follows enquiries, follow-ups, conversions and lead sources. Invoices track payments, deposits and overdue reminders. For a small team coordinating bookings and customer administration, that is a useful breadth of work in a free starting tier.

BanquetsCRM is not a free all-in-one operations suite. POS, inventory, HR, hotel, restaurant and communications functions may require paid modules or credits. Businesses that need those workflows should budget for them rather than assume the free CRM covers day-to-day operations end to end.

Key features

Events, venues and menus

Timelines, assignments and conflict detection help teams coordinate event schedules and responsibilities. Venue management covers multiple halls and time slots, while menu tools handle pricing, dietary options and availability. These features make the core particularly relevant to venues and caterers managing several bookings, though the product's separate modules mean operational breadth depends on which extras a business adds.

Sales and administration

Lead tracking spans enquiry through conversion, with follow-ups and lead sources; proposal building is also supported. Invoice payment tracking, deposits and overdue reminders give operators a way to follow receivables alongside bookings. Local tax configurations include GST in India and FBR in Pakistan, a practical advantage for businesses using those tax regimes.

Operational add-ons

The POS module includes shifts and receipt printing, and is described as integrating directly with a kitchen; POS sales can also deduct inventory stock automatically. Other paid modules cover stock and suppliers, room bookings and hotel guest folios, restaurant management, and staff scheduling, attendance and payroll. Communications campaigns use email, SMS and WhatsApp, with credit-based pricing. This modular design lets businesses select functions, but the total cost can rise as more workflows move beyond the CRM.

Security and support

The maker says data is encrypted in transit and sensitive customer or payment information is restricted with role-based permissions. It advertises daily backups and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Support channels include chat, email and calls, and the core product is described as having 24/7 priority support. These commitments matter for teams relying on bookings and customer records, though they do not remove the need to check that selected modules fit the business's requirements.

Pricing

The Core CRM is 0.00 USD per free, billed free forever, with events, leads, customers, invoices, venues, menus and team management; no credit card is required. It is the clear starting point for businesses whose needs stay within those functions. The free tier does not guarantee free access to POS, inventory, HR, hotel, restaurant or communications capabilities.

Support Tickets: from $9.99/mo for an internal staff helpdesk.
POS Terminal: from $10/mo for point of sale, shifts and receipt printing.
Website Module: from $10/mo for a public venue website, inquiry forms and online booking.
Inventory Management: from $10/mo for stock tracking, suppliers and low-stock alerts.
Hotel Management: from $15/mo for room booking, check-in and check-out, housekeeping and guest folios.
Restaurant Management: from $35/mo, combining POS, inventory and restaurant functions.
HR & Payroll: from $35/mo for staff scheduling, attendance and payroll.
Communications: pay-as-you-go, with credit-based pricing for email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns; custom pricing.

A 14-day trial is offered. The entry paid price is low, but businesses should add up the modules they actually need: the free plan is generous as a CRM foundation, not a substitute for a bundled hospitality operations package.

Platforms

BanquetsCRM runs on the web, Android and iOS. Browser access is optimized for mobile use, making it suitable for teams that need to reach the system from phones as well as a desktop browser.

Who it's for

Banquet halls, caterers, decorators, hotels, wedding planners and corporate event operators are the stated audience. It is strongest for teams that want bookings, leads, customer records and invoices connected, especially where venue and menu coordination are central. It is a weaker fit for buyers seeking a single predictable price for a full suite, since operational features are split across modules and credits.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free-forever CRM includes event, lead, customer, invoice, venue, menu and team management, giving small operators a meaningful base without a credit card.
Pros: Booking conflict detection, multiple-hall support and menu availability address concrete coordination needs for venues and caterers.
Pros: POS sales can deduct inventory stock automatically, linking two operational workflows for businesses that add both modules.
Cons: POS, inventory, HR, hotel, restaurant and communications may cost extra, so a business's total spend depends on its required modules.
Cons: Communications is credit-based pay-as-you-go rather than a fixed monthly module price, making campaign costs less predictable.

Alternatives

Event Catering Software is a useful place to compare options across the category. Consider Eventifood if broad platform coverage and a free plan matter; its Pro Max PAYG plan is free with a 3.0% platform fee plus Stripe processing. Catertoo is worth considering for a free plan capped at three events a month that includes proposals, e-signatures and a menu builder, with unlimited users and clients.

CartFlow may suit a smaller operation comfortable with explicit free-tier caps, including three events a month and limits on sales records, products, recipes, stock and saved venues. SendOrder is another free option with food costing, preparation conversion, inventory, recipes, orders and expenses, and may fit teams focused on those workflows. Traqly offers a free tier for up to eight clients and four proposals per month, making it relevant to operators with modest proposal volume.

Caterease is a paid alternative for buyers who prefer a paid product with modules such as guest rooms, prospect management, document building, web inquiry and banquet rooms. Caiter is a paid option with a free trial and a Start plan at $79.00 USD per month, including three users and up to 50 proposals per month. CaterZen may be a better fit for a catering business seeking unlimited users, transactions, menus/items and orders/events in its $179.00 USD per month Pro plan.

Verdict

Choose BanquetsCRM if your event business needs a free, broad CRM foundation for bookings, leads, invoices, venues and menus, with the option to add operational tools selectively. Look elsewhere if you need POS, inventory, communications or several other functions under one predictable suite price: the modular costs can complicate budgeting as the business grows.
