In their own words
Baresto Manager
Baresto Manager is a restaurant system for QR menus, waiter ordering, kitchen display, cashier workflows, and reports. Staff can manage tables and floor plans, place mobile orders, send items to the kitchen, mark them delivered, and close tables with payment. The kitchen display organizes tickets by table, supports dish-status updates and station filters for kitchen, bar, and grill, and provides real-time alerts. Guests can use Greek- or English-language QR menus with allergen and availability information, call a waiter, and scan a table-specific or shared code. Managers can view revenue, order, and top-item reports and export them as CSV. Login supports passwords and four-digit PINs, with roles for admins, managers, waiters, kitchen staff, and cashiers. Cashiers can take cash or card and print receipts. Daily service runs on venue LAN or Wi-Fi without always-on internet; downloads and updates need internet. The software runs locally and is free to run, with no license fee or SaaS subscription.
FloCafe KDS
FloCafe KDS brings front-of-house restaurant orders to a kitchen screen, where staff can follow live tickets and preparation status. Tickets can include the table, order type, items, modifiers, notes and elapsed time. Staff can view the full kitchen board or narrow the display to a prep station such as grill, cold, drinks or expo. Station routing, order status tracking, an expo screen and offline mode are listed capabilities. The KDS is part of FloCafe, a restaurant POS that also covers dine-in, takeaway, delivery, tables, printing, menus and local data. Optional OrderFlow connects orders from Zomato, Swiggy and other aggregators to the POS workflow. FloCafe is designed for infrastructure controlled by the operator, and the maker says it does not keep a central cloud database for restaurant data. Anonymous launch and usage pings are enabled by default, but can be disabled in Settings and exclude business data. The MIT-licensed software is free, with hardware and operating costs separate; it is provided without warranty.
