Broadcom Symantec SASE

Broadcom Symantec SASE provides security for network traffic, web use, and cloud applications through cloud and edge services. Its Cloud SWG inspects web traffic through a proxy, decrypts SSL/TLS connections, examines files, and provides a cloud firewall. ZTNA provides access to private applications in cloud environments or on-premises data centers and is described as a VPN replacement. Intelligence Services offers visibility and application control for more than 45,000 cloud applications, including shadow IT. Listed protections include multi-layered inspection, Symantec antivirus, cloud sandboxing, and full web isolation. Cloud and on-premises SWG can share a management, reporting, and policy interface. Deployment options include on-premises, hybrid, and all-cloud configurations; cloud services run on Google public cloud infrastructure. Listed integrations include DLP and full CASB. Broadcom says the service reduces public internet routes and favors Google Cloud's private backbone. The Symantec SSE plan has annual per-user pricing, but no amount is listed; customers are directed to Broadcom or a partner for pricing.
