Overview

Baseline Labs Schema Generator is a web and API service for turning live pages into schema.org JSON-LD. It suits site owners who want broad schema coverage and a path from one-off markup to scheduled refreshes, but the current service outage makes it a poor choice when generation must happen immediately.

The generator identifies a page type and produces markup across more than 20 schema.org types, including Article, Product, FAQPage, HowTo, LocalBusiness and SoftwareApplication. Its output is a snapshot: changes to the page do not flow into that markup automatically. For a static page, pasting the script tag into the page head avoids server changes and extra libraries; sites with frequently changing content need Rolling Schema instead.

Schema validation, bulk generation, WordPress support and markup monitoring round out the capabilities. The generator page says the service is temporarily offline and submitted pages have been queued for processing, a material obstacle for anyone trying to create markup now. Baseline Labs was founded by Chris Mortimer in 2025 and is based in Galway, Ireland. Support is available by email or contact form.

Key features

One-off markup or scheduled refreshes

The basic generator captures a page once. Rolling Schema re-crawls pages and regenerates markup on a schedule as often as every 30 minutes, which is the better fit for pages whose content changes regularly. Free includes Rolling Schema for one domain and five pages; Standard adds auto-injection, while Power puts Rolling Schema in a priority queue. Those plan distinctions matter if markup freshness is more important than simply generating a first version.

API and integrations

The API generates JSON-LD for a URL and uses an X-API-Key header for authentication. API access begins with Power, which allows 1,000 requests per day; the API reference identifies insufficient credits and rate limiting as possible errors, so high-volume users should account for both. Users can connect Google Search Console and optionally Google Analytics with read-only access to selected properties. Baseline Labs says those measurements are used within its product, not sold, used for advertising or used to train AI models.

The company describes HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and network isolation between services as security measures. Its core application and database are hosted in the European Union, though GPU inference and globally distributed object storage may involve processing outside the EEA. That distinction matters to organizations with geographic data-processing requirements.

Pricing

The Free plan is free. It includes the schema generator and Rolling Schema for one domain and five pages; single-page generation requires no account or card. The caps make it useful for trying the workflow or covering a small site, but not for broad refresh coverage.

Standard costs 79.00 EUR per month, billed €79 / month. It covers one domain and 2,500 credits per month, with Rolling Schema auto-injection and a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. It is the practical step up for a single-domain site that needs ongoing updates, but it has no API access.

Power costs 249.00 EUR per month, billed €249 / month. It includes ten domains, 20,000 credits per month, priority queue access for Rolling Schema, API access capped at 1,000 requests per day and a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. This tier suits multi-domain operations or workflows that need programmatic generation; the higher price buys capacity and API access, not unlimited requests.

Ultimate costs 749.00 EUR per month, billed €749+ / month. It adds unlimited domains, dedicated GPU capacity, white-label reporting, an MCP endpoint, custom deployment and an SLA. It is aimed at organizations that need dedicated infrastructure or deployment terms rather than a larger self-serve quota. All three paid plans are monthly; the stated trial applies to new Standard and Power subscribers.

Platforms

The product is offered on web and through an API. WordPress support is also available, while the generated script can be pasted into a page head without server changes or additional libraries.

Who it's for

Choose Baseline Labs if you need support for many common schema types and want one product to cover static generation, validation and scheduled refreshes. Free is a low-friction starting point for a small site; Standard fits a single domain needing auto-injection; Power is more appropriate for teams managing several domains or calling the API. Look elsewhere if immediate generation is essential while the service remains offline, if a small capped plan cannot cover your pages, or if your organization cannot accept possible processing outside the EEA.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 20 supported schema types cover common page categories, including products, articles and local businesses.
Pros: Static script-tag output avoids server changes and extra libraries, while Rolling Schema supports refreshes as frequently as every 30 minutes.
Pros: The free tier permits single-page generation without an account or card, and includes a small Rolling Schema allowance.
Cons: The service is temporarily offline, so queued submissions may not meet an immediate need.
Cons: Standard has no API access; API users need Power or above and must work within its daily request cap.
Cons: Free Rolling Schema is limited to one domain and five pages, and Ultimate starts at €749+ per month.

Alternatives

Schema Markup Tools is the broader directory for comparing tools in this category.

For a dedicated rolling workflow, Rolling Schema offers a free plan with one domain, 500 credits per month and five rolling-schema pages, but no API access on Free. That is a better fit when scheduled refreshes are the priority and the smaller monthly credit allowance is sufficient.

JSON Schema App SaaS Schema has a free web plan limited to Product, Service and Articles, with basic structured-data setup, up to 50 URLs, an LLMs.txt generator and a schema markup checker. Consider it when those specific schema types and its URL allowance suit the job.

SchemaValid is a free, browser-based tool with no account or installation, a straightforward alternative when those conditions are the priority.

JSON-LD Generator is a free web option with 17 schema types and no signup stated; it is worth considering if that type coverage meets your needs.

Schema Markup Generator is free and requires no login or signup, a simpler alternative for readers who prefer not to create an account.

StructuredValidator is a free tool with no signup stated.

Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP supports self-hosted and web platforms. Its PERSONAL license costs 99.00 USD per year and renews automatically after one year; consider it if that WordPress-oriented licensing model fits your site.

Schema Markup Info is another free web alternative.

Verdict

Baseline Labs Schema Generator is best for site owners who need broad schema type coverage and want to move from a one-off JSON-LD snapshot to recurring refreshes, with API access available at Power. The free entry point and static, low-infrastructure output are useful advantages. Its temporary outage is the clearest reason to choose another tool for work that cannot wait, while the Free and Standard limits make careful plan selection important as page counts or API needs grow.
