In their own words

BatchBoost

BatchBoost is food production management software for artisan food producers, kitchens, packers, and small manufacturers. It calculates recipe costs by batch and unit, and updates those figures when ingredient prices change. Production tools cover runs, batch numbers, yield tracking, and traceability in both directions. Paid plans add stock management and event planning, including recipe-based production and automatic stock deductions. Food-safety tools include 19 downloadable SALSA-aligned templates and allergen management for all 14 FSA-recognised allergens. It offers UK PPDS and Traffic Light nutrition labels, plus US FDA Nutrition Facts panels. BatchBoost runs on the web and through an API; a REST API and MCP server are available on Standard and above. Square POS integration is listed for Standard and Premium. A free plan is available, and listed paid plans are $30.00 per month for Grow, $50.00 per month for Standard, and $100.00 per month for Premium. The plans page advertises a 30 Day free trial of the Stock & Event Module.

Nutritics Recipe and Menu Management

Nutritics Recipe and Menu Management centralizes recipes, menus, costs and waste management, with access organized by site. It calculates cost per serving, generates cost reports and recommends retail prices using profit margins and tax rates. The platform provides a dietitian-curated database of over one million ingredients. Supplier ingredient changes are captured and flagged to support allergen compliance, including Natasha’s Law requirements, while nutrition and health claims appear only when recipes meet the necessary legal conditions. Listed capabilities include multi-location support, allergen tracking, yield scaling, preparation instructions and nutrition information. Nutritics is cloud-based and accessed through a web browser on Windows, Mac or Linux computers with an internet connection. The professional interface is not available on smartphones, though a Libro companion app is available for clients and restaurant guests. Standard licences generally allow account access from one location at a time. Pricing is on request, with a 7-day trial and no free plan. Support and webinars are included with all plans.
