In their own words

BattlEye

BattlEye is anti-cheat software for online multiplayer games. Its system combines kernel-based protection intended to block many hacks with scans in user and kernel modes, using specific and heuristic detection routines. When it detects cheaters, it can issue global bans; game servers can also use a remote console to kick players who break server rules. The maker says it adapts solutions to supported games, including script detection for the Arma series, with integration on both client and server that can be ready for release within days. Communications use encrypted packets over the game's network connection, with no extra port or firewall forwarding, and an automatic update system. BattlEye lists Linux, macOS, and Windows, though its FAQ notes the kernel-level driver is not compatible with Windows 11 Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. It may process game, device, operating-system, and related file or process information, and says it generally stores no information on most users. Pricing is on request.

Korvayne Runtime

Korvayne Runtime is listed with Windows and PC support and freemium pricing, but KORVAYNE’s official site describes an independent game studio and does not mention a product with that name. The studio is based in Germany and says it creates original games focused on tactile environments, unsettling systems, and stories grounded in human choices. Its current project, Hearthlight, is a first-person puzzle and exploration horror game in development. The story follows a player returning to an abandoned reunion centre to uncover what happened to them as a child and what the company left behind. KORVAYNE is preparing a small selection of prop packs from its internal art pipeline, with details to come when the first collection is ready. The supplied listing gives a free plan and paid access from €149, plus multiple game-engine support and a developer SDK. It indicates no kernel-level client or server-side detection. Studio, press, or asset enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
