In their own words
Beamery
Beamery is an AI workforce transformation platform for organizations connecting skills and task intelligence with workforce data. Its Workforce Intelligence Suite models change scenarios, anticipates talent risks, and identifies automation opportunities. The execution suite covers job design and calibration, sourcing and matching, Talent CRM, talent marketing, events, campus recruiting, career sites, chatbots, and talent analytics. Beamery says its Ray advisor provides transparent, context-aware recommendations for workflows and decisions. Certified integrations are available for Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, with public APIs and custom integrations also supported. Listed partners include ADP, Greenhouse, Jobvite, Oracle Taleo, SmartRecruiters, LinkedIn CRM Connect, and Indeed Recruiter Extension. Beamery states ISO 27001 certification since 2020 and an annual SOC 2 Type 2 report. It describes TLS 1.2 or above in transit, AES 256 encryption at rest, and SAML 2.0 SSO. Customer data can be stored in the US or EU by preference, with a stated 99.9% uptime SLA. Pricing and subscription limits are available on request.
CaSS
CaSS provides infrastructure for describing and exchanging competencies, evidence of attainment, and related resources. It translates competency data between systems with different structures, using global identifiers and APIs to support sharing. Organizations can use competency and framework alignments to find learning resources such as courses, assessments, books, and games. CaSS can store competency-based profiles, transcripts, badges, and credentials for training, credentialing, and career management. Its tools include a REST JSON-LD API, a JavaScript library for browser and Node.js environments, and adapters for IMS CASE, Open Badges, xAPI, and JSON-LD. Competencies can be imported and exported in common formats as linked data, and API integrations are described for learning management systems and sources such as O*NET. Access controls can be configured to govern who views, accesses, or edits competencies. Deployment options include public or private cloud, a federated architecture, and configurations ranging from lightweight open systems to strong cryptography. The project describes a no-knowledge security architecture in which the server does not access unencrypted private data or user credentials. CaSS is free and open source under Apache 2.0, with code available for hosting an instance.
