In their own words

BeatVisualiser

BeatVisualiser makes music visualiser videos for promoting tracks on YouTube, TikTok, Shorts, and Reels. Add WAV, MP3, or FLAC audio, trim it to a chosen moment, then choose from more than 30 visual styles, including Spectrum, Waveform, Vinyl, Scope, and Split. Videos can use image or video backgrounds, custom artwork, and auto-synced lyrics. Exports are downloadable MP4s in vertical 9:16 or landscape 16:9, up to 1080p 60fps. YouTube Mode allows tracks up to 10 minutes per export; short-form exports stop at 60 seconds. The free account includes all styles, 1080p 60fps output, and no watermark, but only one export of up to 15 seconds; later exports cost one credit each. Pro is $16.99 a month, and Lifetime is $149, paid once, limited to the first 150 early supporters. The site says rendering happens locally in the browser, but Safari and Firefox lack the required rendering APIs.

Plane9

Plane9 is a free Windows 3D music visualizer and sound-responsive screensaver. It can run in a standalone window, as a screensaver, or as a VR visualizer, with OpenVR/HTC Vive and Oculus Rift support listed. The software offers 250 scenes that can be combined into more than 10,000 views, plus 39 transition scenes. It reacts to audio from computer sources such as Spotify and iTunes and can analyze sound from recording devices. Multiple monitors are supported, and analysis can use up to 18 speakers. A studio application records videos from the visualizer, and video export is available. Plane9 is listed at free for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. It requires an OpenGL 3.3-capable graphics card; the FAQ recommends a recent OpenGL 4.0 or newer card. Audio analysis does not work with unprocessed digital audio such as DTS. Commercial use of scenes and generated content requires a commercial-use license.
