BeautyPlus vs FOREVER

BeautyPlus is a photo and video editing service for selfies, portraits, filters, virtual try-ons, and image editing. It runs on the web, iOS, and Android, with mobile apps from the App Store and Google Play. Editing includes generative tools, layers and masks, batch editing, AI filters, textures, color grading, and collages. Portrait controls adjust facial features, smooth skin, and reshape body contours. AI tools can enhance image quality, generate content, change backgrounds, remove objects, restore videos, and create professional headshots. Virtual try-ons cover hairstyles, hair colors, outfits, nail designs, tattoos, and glasses. BeautyPlus also offers image-editing APIs and lists Claude, OpenAI, and OpenClaw as supported AI agents. API applicants need a BeautyPlus account and VIP membership. Cloud editing uploads photos to BeautyPlus servers and may transmit EXIF data, including GPS coordinates and device details. Plans include Free at free with limited AI access; Pro and Max provide stated monthly credits and tool allowances.

FOREVER provides cloud storage to preserve, organize, and share family photos, videos, and other memories. The company describes its service as combining digitization, storage, organization, and printing, and says stored memories are guaranteed to remain available for the owner's lifetime plus 100 years. Its mobile apps support automatic photo backup, albums, tags, people, search, and sharing with friends and family. Users can stream videos, trim clips, merge moments, and create title covers. The Valet desktop uploader handles batch uploads, preserves existing folder organization, and supports background processing with retries. FOREVER says files are backed up across multiple locations and regions and uploads use SSL-encrypted transmission. It also says it does not sell users' personal information or advertise against their content. A free 2GB option is described; the listed 10GB storage plan costs $179.99 as a one-time purchase, with 24 monthly installments also offered. Supported files must be under 4GB; the storage FAQ directs users to support for larger files. Apps and services are listed for Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows.
