In their own words

Bentodoro

Bentodoro is a free online Pomodoro timer made for students and board exam review. Classic mode counts down from a chosen work duration, while Reverse mode counts up and earns break time as work continues. The timer can be used without an account, but saving study activity and plans requires sign-in. Signed-in users can track subjects and topics, record study activity, and schedule review tasks on a calendar. Statistics include streaks, a weekly overview, an activity heatmap, subject breakdowns, session modes, the most productive day, and monthly trends. On supported browsers, Mini timer opens a small Picture-in-Picture window; the changelog specifies Chrome and Edge. Google Sign-In is available. Supabase handles account sign-in and saved study data, while timer settings, layout, appearance, and sign-in information are stored in the browser. The privacy policy says collected information can include email, username, sessions, tasks, settings, timestamps, and analytics data. Bentodoro is listed for Android, iOS, and web; the free plan includes both timer modes and study tracking features.

StudiesTimer

StudiesTimer is a study and productivity platform with a free Pomodoro timer, session tracking, habit tools and study groups. The timer lets users set focus durations, take automatic breaks or switch to stopwatch mode; sessions save automatically. Subject labels help organize study time, and charts, graphs and trends show progress. Groups include real-time chat, with a searchable global leaderboard and a live count of active students. AI quizzes, flashcards and PDFs use monthly AI credits. The web timer works in desktop, mobile and tablet browsers and does not require an account. Free access includes three labels, one weekly goal, up to three groups, 10 monthly AI credits, one five-item to-do list and 14 days of visible session history. Older sessions are retained but require Premium for full-history access. Premium costs $47.99 per year after a seven-day free trial. The maker says its iPhone and iPad app is available for pre-order and Android app is coming soon.
