In their own words
BEPOZ
BEPOZ is point-of-sale software for restaurants, retail shops and businesses that operate both, with tools for managing multiple venues. Its Entrepreneur version is aimed at a single store; Corporate can manage one or more sites through an on-premise headquarters server or cloud management, and the maker says the system is intended for businesses with one to 30,000 locations. It supports inventory, purchasing, stocktakes, transfers, reorder levels, and FIFO or average costing, alongside scheduled price changes, discounts and promotions. Restaurant tools include table management, reservations, split tickets, drive-through operations and bar-tab pre-authorization. SmartTAB and SmartPad support mobile ordering, including offline orders that sync after reconnection. Deployment choices include public, private or hybrid cloud and temporary or permanent offline modes. It runs on Android, iOS, web and Windows. Integrations named by BEPOZ include Uber Eats, DoorDash, Shopify, WooCommerce, QuickBooks, Xero and property-management systems. Phone and email support are included, with 24/7 emergency support advertised.
Lightspeed Restaurant
Lightspeed Restaurant is restaurant management software built around a point-of-sale and payments platform. It supports customizable menus, screens and floor plans, with online, tableside and QR-code ordering. Restaurants, hotels and multi-location operators can use the system for operations including inventory, reservations, tables, staff scheduling and sales reporting. The cloud-based POS can keep working offline, saving entered data locally and uploading it when connectivity returns; master-data maintenance and eCloud evaluations still require internet access. Its front end requires the Lightspeed Restaurant iPad app, while the back end can be managed on desktop and iPad. Lightspeed also says the POS can run in a browser on Mac, PC, Apple or Android devices. The Restaurant Integration Hub includes hundreds of third-party integrations, and accounting sync can send sales data to QuickBooks, Xero, Sage and other software. Plans start at $69/mo. Restaurant has no free plan or free trial listed; a demo option is presented instead.
