In their own words

BetterWorld

BetterWorld is web-based fundraising software for nonprofits and other community-serving organizations. Its tools include standard donations, donation forms, auctions, events and ticketing, giveaways and raffles, peer-to-peer fundraising, crowdfunding, paddle raises, impact giving, a-thons, and donor management. Plans include all fundraising tools, unlimited campaigns, and unlimited teammates. A donor system organizes donations, interactions, and insights; checkout supports cards, digital wallets, and bank transfers online or at events. BetterWorld lists more than 5,000 integrations, including native connections to Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, HubSpot, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, and Blackbaud, plus Zapier integrations such as Mailchimp and Google Sheets. The platform states that it is PCI-compliant, uses bank-level encryption, and does not sell donor data. A free plan is available. Partner costs $1,550 a year and Keystone costs $5,950 a year, both billed annually. Standard payment processing fees of 1.5%-2.9% + $0.30 apply; donors can choose to cover them.

Txt2Give

Txt2Give lets churches and nonprofits accept donations by text. A donor sends a keyword and amount from a phone’s messaging app; no separate app download or account is required. The platform processes the payment and sends receipts by email. Donors can set gifts to recur weekly, every two weeks, monthly, or on the 1st and 15th. Plans include unlimited causes and keywords, a branded giving page, a real-time dashboard, and reporting. The service lists English, French, and Spanish support, with Android, iOS, and web access. Named integrations are Planning Center, FellowshipOne, and Community Church Builder; other connections can be made through export. Txt2Give says Stripe handles payments and tokenizes card data rather than storing it on its own servers. The Donor-Supported Plan is free; the Flat Rate Plan costs $25 /month + 1%. Both also incur Stripe processing fees of 2.3% + $0.30/transaction. Push messaging is a separately priced add-on requiring regulatory approval.
