Overview

Ridvay Studio is an AI-assisted editor for posters, social posts, slides and thumbnails, with tools for turning prompts and existing images into editable designs. It suits creators and teams who want to refine generated work, reuse brand styling or produce assets in several formats. Its strongest case is the combination of editable output and broad exports; the free tier’s daily AI caps and credited exports are the main compromises.

Key features

Designs are assembled from elements users can move, restyle or delete, rather than being fixed images. Recreate applies that approach to an uploaded screenshot, photo or old flyer, extracting editable text and layers. This is useful when adapting existing material, but less important if all you need is a finished graphic with no further editing.

Brand kits save colors, fonts, logos and a brand voice for generation and refinement. Multi-page support covers decks, carousels and documents, while custom dimensions and print-ready output serve work beyond standard social sizes. PNG, SVG, PDF, PowerPoint, GIF and MP4 exports, plus editable sharing links, make the editor flexible for different publishing and handoff needs.

The hosted MCP server connects to clients including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code. An agent can create or refine designs, export and share them, and update variables in a living design. That makes Ridvay relevant to users building design work into an AI-assisted workflow, though those who do not use such clients gain little from this integration.

Free users can make unlimited manual designs and use templates, but AI generation is capped at five designs and three images per day. Free exports include a small “Made with Ridvay” credit. Paid plans remove that export credit and raise the AI allowances. Ridvay says it does not share conversations with third parties for training, marketing or uses beyond generating requested AI responses. Depending on the selected model, messages, study content and uploaded images may be processed by third-party AI providers; its services are hosted primarily in US data centers on Google Cloud Platform.

Pricing

The Free plan is free. It includes five AI designs and three AI images per day, unlimited manual designs and templates, and PNG, JPG and PDF exports. It is a reasonable way to work manually or try limited daily generation, but the AI caps and export credit make it a poor fit for frequent client-facing work.

Plus costs 5.99 EUR per month, billed monthly. It includes 300 AI designs and 40 AI images per month, five AI video exports per month and no daily limit. This is the practical step up for regular work that fits within monthly quotas. Ultimate costs 17.00 EUR per month, billed monthly, and includes unlimited AI designs subject to fair use, 200 AI images and 20 AI video exports per month, Imagen 4 and Nano Banana Pro, and a priority render queue. It suits heavier generation and users who need those models or faster queue priority; the image and video quotas still apply.

A 7-day trial is offered. Mobile apps are not available, so mobile users should expect a web-based workflow rather than a dedicated Android or iOS app.

Platforms

Ridvay is available on web, Android, iOS and API. Despite those platform listings, it has no mobile apps; MCP access is through supported client applications rather than a substitute app.

Who it's for

Ridvay is best for people who produce visual content in multiple formats and want control over generated designs, reusable brand styling or the ability to revise older artwork. The export range and MCP tools also suit users handing designs between formats or working with AI clients. It is less compelling for occasional users who need only a simple, finished poster, or for mobile-first users who expect a dedicated app.

Pros and cons

Pros: Editable layers make generated designs and recreated images adaptable rather than final-only.
Pros: Brand kits, multi-page work, custom dimensions and print-ready output cover more than single social graphics.
Pros: Exports span image, document, presentation and video formats, with an editable sharing link.
Pros: MCP lets supported AI clients create, refine, export and update designs.
Cons: The Free plan limits AI designs and images each day and puts a Ridvay credit on exports.
Cons: Plus and Ultimate impose monthly image and video quotas, and Ultimate’s unlimited design allowance is subject to fair use.
Cons: No dedicated mobile apps are available despite Android and iOS platform support.
Cons: Selected AI models may send messages and uploaded material to third-party AI providers for processing.

Alternatives

AI Poster Generators is a category guide for comparing poster-making tools. Choose Designkit instead if you want a freemium option with Android and iOS apps; its free plan offers 20 first-login credits and limited image generation, with no video generation. LightX AI Poster Generator is another freemium option, with six daily free AI credits and photo-editor tools alongside design and video templates.

Contentdrips may suit users who want a web or extension-based tool with a free tier that includes 50 AI credits and one brand. Text to Poster offers a web-based alternative with 20 one-time welcome credits and watermark-free downloads. Piktochart is a web option whose free plan includes 1–4 team members, two downloads, 1 GB storage and 60 AI credits. Kittl is a web alternative with a free plan limited to five projects and 100 one-time AI tokens.

PosterGen is a free alternative. Any2Poster is another free alternative.

Verdict

Ridvay is a strong choice for creators who need editable AI-generated designs, reusable brand assets and exports across print, social and presentation formats. Its MCP integration adds a clear advantage for users working through supported AI clients. Look elsewhere if you need dedicated mobile apps, expect generous free AI use, or do not need the control that comes with an editable design workflow.
