In their own words
BidNet Direct
BidNet Direct connects vendors with government bid opportunities and gives government agencies tools to publish, distribute, and award solicitations. Vendors can register for free to view, download, and respond to relevant bids, and receive curated alerts and real-time matches by email. Responses submitted electronically remain sealed until the closing date, and vendors may change a response until then. Buyers can create solicitations, distribute them to vendors matched through NIGP codes, run online Q&A, and award by line item or lump sum. The buyer system also includes vendor management, bid and addendum distribution, award distribution, and audit and control tools. Optional buyer modules cover evaluation, contract management, vendor performance, pre-qualification, and approval workflows. BidNet Direct says it uses AWS and localized data hosting, keeping US customer data in the United States. Vendor subscriptions include Local coverage for one state, Regional for three states at $200 a month, and National coverage at $330 a month. Federal bid coverage and advertising profiles are listed as add-ons. The service is web-based and targets local government procurement teams and vendors seeking public-sector opportunities.
RFP Software
RFP Software helps teams prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires from their approved knowledge. Its workflow covers uploading a request, parsing requirements, searching the knowledge base, drafting answers, team review, and proposal export. AI creates first drafts in the team’s voice and traces answers to source documents. Teams can assign sections, edit answers in context, and approve them in the workspace. Requirement tracking flags gaps before submission; proposal management also includes approval workflows, analytics, version history, and rollback. Uploads can include Word, Excel, PDF, and portal exports, while completed responses can be exported in the buyer’s required format. Integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, SharePoint, and identity providers; REST API and webhooks support workflow building. Security provisions include TLS 1.2 or higher in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based permissions, SSO and SAML 2.0, SCIM provisioning, multi-factor authentication, and exportable audit logs. The company says customer content is not used to train shared or third-party models. Pricing is on request. A free trial is offered without requiring a credit card to start, with no duration stated.
