In their own words

BigPanda

BigPanda is a web and API platform using agentic AI for IT operations. It is designed to prevent, detect, and resolve incidents by grouping related alerts into incidents and adding operational and business context. AI agents gather information from changes, service desk activity, historical incidents, and other sources, then summarize incidents and suggest next steps. The platform correlates changes with incidents to help identify change-related causes. It ingests event, alert, change, and topology data and can share incident information with ITSM and chat tools. A self-service REST API supports custom integrations for nearly any data source. Incident capabilities include on-call scheduling, escalation policies, post-incident reviews, stakeholder updates, and ChatOps actions. BigPanda states that data in transit uses TLS 1.2 or higher and sensitive data at rest uses AES-256. It reports annual independent SOC 2 audits and AI security assessments with red-team testing, plus zero data retention when generative AI vendors are used. Critical-issue support is available 24/7; standard support follows regional business hours. Pricing is on request through value-based tiered credit plans starting at 20,000 credits, with a one- to three-year commitment.

Causely

Causely gives operations agents a live causal model of a system to help diagnose incidents and act proactively. Its causal inference identifies upstream causes behind cascading symptoms and is described as deterministic and explainable. Agents can traverse the causal graph to assess blast radius and compare behavior before and after deployments; they connect to the model through MCP. Causely ingests traces, metrics, logs, and alerts from existing observability tools, with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and Prometheus named as examples. Its supported technologies include agents, telemetry sources, installation options, and workflow destinations such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. Deployment options include Kubernetes, Docker, hybrid SaaS, and bring-your-own-cloud. Causely says raw source data remains in the customer environment while distilled symptom state goes to its SaaS backend. BYOC can keep the entire application in the customer environment, including in air-gapped deployments. Professional Edition is $2,000 a month and covers up to 500 services, with 30 days of data retention and standard hybrid deployment. Enterprise pricing is custom.
