Bit organizes source code as reusable components that developers can assemble into applications. Components, pages, and features can be composed into app shells, while Hope AI generates component boilerplate, tests, and documentation. A built-in MCP server supports workflows with Cursor or GitHub Copilot for creating and reusing components. Bit says it works with standard JavaScript tools and provides starters for Node.js, React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, Stencil, Lit, React Native, and plain HTML. Remote component scopes can be hosted free on bit.cloud or self-hosted. Its visual review process works alongside GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket review. Bit Cloud describes deploying connected frontends and services with a database, domain, and SSL; each app receives managed MongoDB with separate production and preview databases. Cloud features include approvals, permissions, policies, and audit trails. Bit is available through web, Android, iOS, API, and self-hosted options. The Bit / Open Source plan is free.

Design Tokens is a cloud SaaS hub for managing design tokens across brands, themes, and projects. Multiple users can work on tokens, themes, and brands together. Designers synchronize tokens with Figma variables in real time through the service and linked Figma plugin, while developers receive CSS and SASS variable exports. The platform imports and exports W3C DTCG JSON and states compliance with the latest W3C Design Tokens specification. It works alongside Supernova, with a native hook described as in development. The Free plan includes those sync and export functions, but limits each workspace to three themes, with two workspaces and two users. Pro costs $39 a month, billed annually per team, and raises limits to 20 themes, five workspaces, and 10 users. Data is stored through Supabase and may reside in the U.S. or other provider regions.
