In their own words
Bit
Bit organizes source code as reusable components that developers can assemble into applications. Components, pages, and features can be composed into app shells, while Hope AI generates component boilerplate, tests, and documentation. A built-in MCP server supports workflows with Cursor or GitHub Copilot for creating and reusing components. Bit says it works with standard JavaScript tools and provides starters for Node.js, React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, Stencil, Lit, React Native, and plain HTML. Remote component scopes can be hosted free on bit.cloud or self-hosted. Its visual review process works alongside GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket review. Bit Cloud describes deploying connected frontends and services with a database, domain, and SSL; each app receives managed MongoDB with separate production and preview databases. Cloud features include approvals, permissions, policies, and audit trails. Bit is available through web, Android, iOS, API, and self-hosted options. The Bit / Open Source plan is free.
Particles UI
Particles UI gives teams a way to create, version, review, and publish design tokens across codebases, themes, and AI agents. Token changes are made on branches and reach the main set through review. Its accessibility rule blocks merging or publishing when contrast falls below WCAG AA, and the check can also run in CI. The CLI accepts DTCG, Tokens Studio, CSS, SCSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript token files, and exports formats including Tailwind v4, Style Dictionary, JSON, and Flutter. Listed integrations include Figma, Tailwind, GitHub, MCP, and TypeScript. The maker says its MIT-licensed CLI supports local token management and export without an account. The Free plan costs nothing and includes one project, a main branch, three free viewers, unlimited tokens, all export formats, releases, version pinning, and limited Figma functions. Pro costs $19 a month for one seat; Team costs $29 per editor per month. MCP access requires Team or above. Figma use requires desktop version 116 or later or a Chromium-based browser; Safari is not supported.
