APIOfficial WebUI documentation describes a JSON API used by the Vue/Vuetify interface and says third-party interfaces can use it, but the protocol changes between versions and is not a stable OpenAPI specification. The repository includes a JSON API specification in hydra-api.yaml and points users to Swagger Editor for exploration.

In their own words

BitComet

BitComet is a free download client for BitTorrent, HTTP, and FTP, designed for multiple simultaneous downloads. It supports Magnet Links, HTTP Seeding, DHT, and UDP tracker Protocol v2. During BitTorrent transfers, it can also use HTTP, FTP, and eMule sources. Its Long-Term Seeding Technology searches for more seeds when a download stalls close to completion. For video previews during a download, it prioritizes the file's header and tail. Download controls include global and per-task speed limits, bandwidth scheduling, and automatic shutdown. Network features include tracker-free DHT, Windows ICF and ICS configuration, and UPnP router port mapping. A cloud service connects the BitComet Mobile app to the desktop edition behind NAT or a firewall, using end-to-end encryption. The download page lists Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android support, as well as Docker images for GUI and WebUI. The free plan is limited to private personal use and non-commercial purposes. BitComet also lists a help wiki, support forum, and email contact.

Hydra

Hydra is a continuous integration service for projects based on Nix. It checks out project source periodically or continuously, builds it, runs tests, and produces reports. Work is organized into jobsets whose inputs can trigger builds when they change; jobsets can also depend on one another. Flake jobsets are supported when their outputs expose a hydraJobs attribute set. Jobs can produce packages, ISO images, or tarballs, and jobset inputs can use Git checkout sources. Hydra also provides a JSON API. It is aimed at Nix and NixOS package developers, not people who only need to use NixOS. Hydra is open source under GPL-3.0 and listed at free. It is self-hosted, with no hosted option listed, and running it is currently supported only on NixOS; the repository recommends the NixOS module for production. Flake evaluation is restricted from accessing files outside the Nix store. Some state is stored in the database, so backups are needed, and the wiki reports that hydra-queue-runner can sometimes leave queued builds unscheduled.
