In their own words
Biteable
Biteable is a web-based AI video maker for creating videos from templates or from scratch. A project can start with a script or idea, then use an AI avatar and voice before customization, export, or sharing. Biteable says its AI can turn scripts into editable storyboards and videos, generate voiceovers, translate text, create avatars, and generate ads. Its plans list thousands of customizable templates, millions of stock clips and animations, and royalty-free music. Team features include collaborative editing, shared asset libraries, and video and screen recording. Videos can be shared by hosted link or embed code, or downloaded as MP4. The seven-day trial requires no credit card, but adds a watermark and does not allow MP4 downloads. After the trial, edit-only access permits editing but not publishing or downloading; videos from non-paying accounts may be removed after up to three months. Pro is listed at $15 a month billed annually; Premium is $49 a month billed annually. A free plan is also listed.
Vimeo
Vimeo is a video platform for making, managing, and sharing video, with tools for hosting, creation, collaboration, and live events. Paid plans include an ad-free player with 4K, HDR, and Dolby Vision support, video embedding, templates, trimming, timeline editing, and GIF creation. They also include transcription and subtitle translations, with additional AI tools on higher tiers. Teams can use shared folders, video review, configurable review links, and downloadable comments. The Advanced plan adds virtual events and webinars, simulcasting, Q&A, polls, audience chat, and stream health information. Vimeo offers web, Android, iOS, and API access, along with integrations such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Figma, Google Drive, Slack, and Zoom. Free accounts do not expire, but can upload or create up to 1 GB of content over the account’s lifetime. Paid plans include email support. Starter costs $12 a month for one user, with 2 TB of storage and 2 TB of monthly bandwidth; higher listed plans add users, storage, and event capacity. Enterprise pricing is custom.
