In their own words
bitHuman
bitHuman makes real-time AI avatars that can run in its cloud, on customer servers, on devices, or fully offline. Essence 2 creates a photoreal person from one portrait; Expression 2 animates a character from one image. The documentation describes live speech lip-sync for portrait-based avatars. Developers can connect through LiveKit or Pipecat voice-agent options, or use a REST API; listed developer platforms and tools include iOS and iPadOS, macOS, Android, Flutter, web, Python, Windows, and CLI. The site names banks, clinics, trade shows, museums, kiosks, and embedded-device builders among its use cases. For patient-facing avatars on hardware controlled by a healthcare customer, patient audio and transcripts need not reach bitHuman. Kiosks can run locally and, with an offline license, operate without venue internet. The Free plan lists one concurrent cloud session, API access until 12 October, and Discord community support; paid plans range from Creator at $20 a month to Enterprise at $999 a month. Maximum video resolution is 720p.
