Bitsight Security Ratings
Bitsight Security Ratings helps security and risk leaders assess, monitor, prioritize, and communicate an organization’s cyber risk. It rates organizations on a 300–820 scale and assigns letter grades for individual risk vectors. Bitsight says ratings update daily, while validated rescan results can appear within minutes. Risk data is grouped into Compromised Systems, Organizational Diligence, User Behaviors, and Public Disclosures. Its methodology combines external data mapped to organizations with AI and analyst intelligence to assess risk vectors associated with breaches. Dynamic Remediation provides rescan feedback and rating credit after validated fixes involving SSL configurations, SSL certificates, open TCP ports, server software, and web application security. Plans cover rating and issue management, benchmarking, APIs, integrations, subsidiary management, continuous monitoring, and vendor-risk workflows. Integrations are described for GRC, vendor-risk, SIEM, SOAR, and workflow automation, including ServiceNow and Jira. Developers can build around Security Rating through APIs and MCP access. The product serves security, GRC, third-party risk, board, investor, insurer, financial, and government users. Pricing is on request.
UpGuard
UpGuard is a cloud platform for managing cyber risk across an organization’s vendors, digital footprint, and workforce. Vendor Risk supplies continuous vendor insights, assessments, and AI-powered workflows. Attack Surface Management monitors an organization’s digital footprint to help detect threats, while Trust Exchange provides questionnaire automation, a Trust Page, and collaboration features. The platform supports remediation tracking and advanced risk prioritization, with access through web and API. Listed integrations include Jira Cloud, Slack, and ServiceNow, plus connections to more than 4,000 apps through Zapier. Vendor Risk tiers list API access and SSO. Standard covers 50 vendors; Enterprise+ includes unlimited vendors and platform users. The free plan is available, and paid plans start at $250/mo. Standard is listed at $1,750 a month when billed annually. UpGuard says customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and its security program aligns with ISO/IEC 27001; it also reports SOC 2 Type II compliance and annual attestation.
