Overview

Empxtrack spans the employee lifecycle, from applicant tracking and onboarding to payroll, performance and workforce planning. Its breadth can reduce the need to coordinate separate tools across these functions, while configurable modules give organizations room to shape the system around existing HR processes. That flexibility also means buyers should define the modules they need before comparing costs.

The maker, Empxtrack, was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The product is cloud-based and offers mobile access, including a mobile-friendly employee portal with quick approvals.

Key features

Hiring and administration

Recruitment combines applicant tracking with a career site, resume parsing, interview scheduling, workflow automation and job-board distribution. HCM modules cover payroll, HRIS, time and attendance, leave, manager services and employee self-service. This range suits teams seeking connected hiring and routine HR operations rather than a recruiting-only system.

Performance and strategic HR

Performance tools cover goals, appraisals, feedback, training management and pay-for-performance. Strategic HR capabilities add succession planning, compensation, workforce planning, organizational alignment and employee satisfaction surveys. These functions support a broader talent-management program, though organizations needing only one focused capability may prefer a specialist tool.

Integrations, security and support

A REST-style web API can connect Empxtrack with third-party applications such as SAP, ERP and e-commerce systems, as well as self-service portals. API access applies to purchased or enabled modules, so integration plans depend on the selected configuration. Empxtrack says it uses two-factor authentication, intrusion detection, firewalls, encrypted data, controlled logged access and audit trails, and states that it is GDPR compliant. Its technical specifications describe HTTPS connectivity, real-time backups and dynamic failover switching. The help center offers 24×7 support, online help, self-training tutorial videos and a support forum.

Pricing

Empxtrack is a paid product with pricing on request for its customizable enterprise HR solutions. Buyers can choose modules and tailor them around company processes, then request a demo and pricing. The feature comparison page says its listed pricing applies to a minimum of 1,000 employees, a substantial threshold that makes the enterprise offer a less natural fit for smaller organizations.

360 Feedback: Free. Includes 2 feedback reviews, with up to 10 reviewers per review; additional feedback is charged at country-specific rates. It is a focused starting point for small feedback exercises, not unlimited use.
Evaluate Performance: Free. Includes 5 appraisals; additional appraisals are charged at country-specific rates. The cap makes it useful for a small evaluation run, while recurring or larger review cycles may incur costs.
Multi-Country Payroll: Free forever for up to 10 employees, with payslips and reports. Additional employee licences are charged at country-specific rates. This is the clearest option for a very small payroll cohort; organizations above 10 employees need to account for paid licences.
Customizable Enterprise HR Solutions: custom pricing. Buyers select modules and customize around company processes, with a demo and pricing available on request.

The free products offer a low-commitment way to use particular functions, but their caps and country-specific rates do not establish the cost of a broader deployment. Teams weighing the enterprise solution should confirm module scope and employee count alongside the quote.

Platforms

Empxtrack runs on web, Android and iOS, and supports API access. Because API availability is tied to purchased or enabled modules, it is relevant chiefly to organizations planning integrations around their chosen configuration.

Who it's for

Empxtrack is aimed particularly at large enterprises seeking customizable HR solutions across hiring, administration, performance and strategic workforce planning. Its free products may suit smaller teams that need a limited number of feedback reviews, appraisals or payroll licences. It is less compelling for buyers who want a fixed, transparent enterprise package or need only a single HR specialty.

Pros and cons

Pro: Broad coverage across recruitment, HCM, performance and strategic HR can support more of the employee lifecycle in one product.
Pro: Modular customization and a REST-style API give organizations options to align workflows and connect third-party systems.
Pro: The capped free products provide specific ways to start with feedback, appraisals or payroll without an upfront charge.
Con: Enterprise pricing is custom, and the stated 1,000-employee minimum for listed feature pricing limits its relevance for many smaller employers.
Con: Free offerings have tight usage limits, and additional usage carries country-specific rates, so they are not a substitute for scoping a larger rollout.
Con: API access depends on purchased or enabled modules, which can complicate integration planning until the configuration is settled.

Perdoo is a freemium alternative with a free plan for up to 5 users that includes Strategy Maps, OKR and KPI tracking, meetings, Slack and Teams integration, and an AI Assistant and Coach. ThriveSparrow Rewards Marketplace is another alternative with free One-on-Ones and Feedback modules; consider it when those functions are the priority.

Teamphoria offers its Engage plan at 3.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with peer-to-peer and manager recognition, engagement surveys, pulse surveys and team mood tracking. It is a more focused option when recognition and engagement are the priority.
Magnar Performance is another paid alternative.

Verdict

Choose Empxtrack if a large organization wants configurable coverage from recruitment through performance and workforce planning, with mobile access and integration options tied to selected modules. Its breadth is the main reason to choose it. Look elsewhere if your organization is below the 1,000-employee pricing threshold, needs a predictable enterprise price, or wants a focused tool without assembling a broader HR configuration.
