In their own words
Family Nest
Family Nest is a family safety app for sharing locations and keeping track of family members’ travel activity. It offers live location sharing, location history, and arrival and departure alerts for saved places. Safety tools include SOS alerts, Watch Over Me journeys, emergency contacts, and speed alerts. The app is available on Android and iOS, with a Siri shortcut for triggering an SOS on iPhone. The FAQ describes a 21-day free trial on Android; it also says users can request free access after the trial expires. A free plan is listed, and the Monthly Family Pack costs $5.99 per month while the Annual Family Pack costs $39.99 per year. Membership links up to five devices, though the FAQ says family packs can extend to six people and members must be manually set as premium. Location history beyond three days is recorded only for premium users, and non-premium members’ 30-day history is not visible to others. The privacy policy says the service does not sell personal data and lets users control location sharing. The terms say location accuracy depends on device and network conditions and is not guaranteed in real time.
