In their own words
Bluemingo Production Planning & Scheduling
Bluemingo Production Planning & Scheduling is a web-based system for coordinating factory production, from procurement through final dispatch. It supports make-to-order and make-to-stock production, including inventory thresholds and automatic order generation for stock products. Its AI-powered scheduling combines delivery-date predictions, priority allocation and what-if simulations. Predictions account for order bookings, capacity, available resources and materials, as well as production dynamics across plants.
Planners can model booking scenarios and assess their potential effects on schedules and capacity. Constraint management covers routing, equipment loading and changeovers, manpower, materials and maintenance. The system can coordinate work across a company’s own factories and vendor factories in one model. Bluemingo says it integrates with Level 1 and Level 2 systems for production or quality decisions, without naming specific integrations. Its shop-floor visibility offering tracks production and quality, shows order and material status, and captures data with traceability and genealogy. The company works with customers in steel, automotive, consumer goods and industrial manufacturing. Pricing is on request through sales. Enterprise customers may have SLAs covering 99.5% availability for critical systems, response times and backup and recovery procedures.

Inventory planning calculates safety stocks and reorder quantities, creates replenishment orders, and supports item segmentation and tailored rules. The multilingual Community edition is a browser-based application. Integrations include REST API, CSV, Excel and direct database access; Community also includes two-way Odoo integration. Community and Enterprise provide Ubuntu Linux binaries and Docker images, while Enterprise can be installed on customer hardware. Platforms listed are API, Linux, self-hosted and web. Community users rely on DIY support through a user group; Cloud and Enterprise list professional support.
