Bluerock TMS

Bluerock TMS is a cloud-native transportation management system connecting logistics planning, execution, visibility, and settlement. Planning uses AI-driven routing, flexible scheduling, and real-time data to optimize routes and balance capacity. Execution automates order intake, carrier selection, labeling, booking, and dispatch across transport modes. Visibility combines carrier, telematics, and IoT data with predictive ETAs, alerts, and exception management. Settlement covers freight rating, auditing, billing, self-billing, and cost allocation. Yard Management handles gate, dock, and parking operations with automated check-ins, task assignments, and mobile execution. A Logistics Digital Twin models a network to simulate scenarios and predict outcomes. Its API-first architecture integrates with ERP, WMS, OMS, and carrier systems, with real-time event streaming and batch exchange. Bluerock describes multi-country and multi-carrier operations and lists industries including manufacturing, retail, life sciences, logistics, energy, public sector, and environmental services. The company says implementation typically takes 8–12 weeks and includes migration, carrier onboarding, integration, and training. Pricing is on request.

Open TMS

Open TMS is an open-source transportation management system for coordinating logistics from order intake through delivery. Orders can be entered by CSV, EDI 850, REST API or manually, then managed alongside shipment tracking, lane matching and multi-stop routing. Carrier operations include broadcast and waterfall tenders, a bidding portal and EDI tendering. Its EDI hub supports X12 transaction types including 850, 855, 856, 204, 990, 997, 214, 210, 810 and 820 over SFTP or HTTP. Tracking integrations use FedEx, UPS and DHL APIs; GPS and sensor data can feed traffic-aware ETA monitoring through TomTom, HERE or self-hosted Valhalla routing. Warehouse tools cover receiving, putaway, picking, packing, load planning, inventory and returns. A scan-first progressive web app supports warehouse work and barcode scanning with Zebra and Honeywell RF guns. Open TMS can be deployed with Docker Compose on cloud or self-hosted infrastructure. Its plan costs nothing, is MIT licensed, and lists no per-user fees, transaction costs or feature gates.
