In their own words
BlueVolt
BlueVolt is a learning management system and course-sharing network for training external channel partners. It is designed for manufacturers, distributors, buying groups, and trade associations in construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial markets. BlueVolt says its network connects more than 1.2 million learners across trade and industrial channels. Organizations can run branded universities and Training Tracks, use incentives and automation rules, and track activity with analytics and reporting. Training options include certification, badging, assessments, course authoring, and instructor-led sessions. Course materials can be SCORM or xAPI packages, presentations, PDFs, videos, or external URLs. The platform supports web, Android, iOS, and API access, with custom branding and domains. Listed integrations include Salesforce, single sign-on, payment services, content tools, and NATE reporting. Its APIs cover reporting and user profiles, but not enrollment creation, course changes, or certificate records. Mobile access is responsive, though course compatibility varies; BlueVolt recommends computers for CEU courses because mobile devices may not reliably report seat time. Pricing is on request.
Continu
Continu is an AI-powered enterprise learning platform for employee, customer, and partner education. Built-in authoring tools and AI assistance support course, learning journey, and assessment creation. Automated assignment workflows and Continu Insights provide a way to deliver learning and generate real-time reports from learning data. Teams can create branded portals for external audiences and use Hubs for distinct experiences across sub-brands. Eddy, its AI learning agent, provides learning answers and training through Slack, Microsoft Teams, and SMS. Listed integrations include Workday, Salesforce, BambooHR, Zoom, Google Meet, LinkedIn Learning, and Udemy for Business. Continu offers Growth for fewer than 1,000 monthly active users, Professional for 1,000–5,000, and Enterprise for 5,000 or more; prices are on request, and there is no free plan. Implementation costs 10% of first-year contract value, and Continu recommends allowing 60 days for setup. Screen-recording assessments require learners to install its Continu Screen Capture Chrome extension. Continu was founded in 2012 and is based in New York, New York.
