In their own words
Blurbi
Blurbi creates product listings for online marketplaces from product details or an uploaded photo. Its modes cover eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, and a generic option for other platforms. Sellers can select Professional, Casual, Luxury, Fun, or Minimal tones. The web service and Chrome extension have a free plan with five descriptions per month; photo listings are subject to plan limits. The extension places a Blurbi button on listing pages for eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, and Depop, where users can generate and copy a description. Pro offers unlimited descriptions and photo listings, priority generation, email support, and bulk CSV generation for up to 100 products at a time. Pro costs £9/month or £79/year. An account is needed beyond the public landing-page demo, and users must be at least 16. Blurbi says it does not sell user data or use inputs to train AI models; product details and optional photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate descriptions.
Catalogd
Catalogd turns product information into catalogs formatted for import to supported commerce platforms. Products can start in spreadsheets, photo folders, or manual entry. The service writes descriptions in a brand voice, uses AI to match photos to products, fills SEO fields such as meta titles, descriptions, alt text, and URL handles, and generates priced variant combinations for sizes, colors, and materials. It exports platform-formatted CSV files for Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, and Squarespace. For Etsy, it formats files for Vela, a third-party tool, because Etsy has no native CSV import. The product is aimed at boutique retailers moving online and artists and makers with handmade products; freelancers and agencies can use it for client catalog work. The free plan supports up to five products, one run, and one platform. Starter costs 49.00 USD once; Pro costs 149.00 USD once; Studio costs 399.00 USD once. Higher tiers expand product and run allowances, and Studio includes priority support. A one-hour onboarding call can be added to any plan for $199.
