In their own words
Blurbi
Blurbi creates product listings for online marketplaces from product details or an uploaded photo. Its modes cover eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, and a generic option for other platforms. Sellers can select Professional, Casual, Luxury, Fun, or Minimal tones. The web service and Chrome extension have a free plan with five descriptions per month; photo listings are subject to plan limits. The extension places a Blurbi button on listing pages for eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, and Depop, where users can generate and copy a description. Pro offers unlimited descriptions and photo listings, priority generation, email support, and bulk CSV generation for up to 100 products at a time. Pro costs £9/month or £79/year. An account is needed beyond the public landing-page demo, and users must be at least 16. Blurbi says it does not sell user data or use inputs to train AI models; product details and optional photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate descriptions.
CatalogFix
CatalogFix is a web app for improving Shopify product catalog content. It scans active products visible to a store, identifies missing descriptions, weak SEO content, and blank image alt text, then assigns a catalog health score out of 100. Its AI generates product descriptions from each item’s images, title, and existing data, plus SEO meta fields, tags, and image alt text. CatalogFix says meta titles stay below 60 characters and meta descriptions below 155 characters. Product photos are sent to Claude’s vision AI for alt-text generation. Users can review and edit fields, select what to publish, and approve updates to Shopify. A snapshot is saved before publishing, allowing one-click reversion. The app runs in Shopify Admin, uses the Shopify API, and works with any Shopify theme. Free accounts include unlimited previews and a full scan; publishing requires a paid plan. Starter costs $13.99 a month for 50 products monthly; Growth costs $39.99 a month for 300.
