In their own words
BMC Helix AIOps
BMC Helix AIOps provides service monitoring, event management, root cause analysis, and remediation for infrastructure operations. It tracks services in real time and shows their health in a severity-coded heatmap. When a service is affected, the product correlates related events, identifies a root cause, ranks impacted nodes, and displays effects across related services. AI and machine learning group events into situations to reduce noise and surface issues during event storms. The product can ingest events, metrics, logs, traces, and topology data from BMC and third-party sources. Connected to BMC HelixGPT, it can provide AI-generated best-action recommendations, log insights, and a virtual agent for investigating situations. Documented incident integrations through HelixGPT include BMC Helix ITSM, Jira Service Management, and ServiceNow ITSM; external log sources include Splunk Enterprise and Elasticsearch. It also connects to BMC Helix ITSM for change-risk information. Pricing is on request, with no public price listed. BMC says customers must contact Support to enable HelixGPT features for AIOps.
Keep
Keep is an open-source alert management and AIOps platform for bringing alerts together, reducing noise, and automating response workflows. Its alert workspace supports querying, slicing, analysis, and rule-based grouping. The YAML-based workflow engine has a UI and can query MySQL, enrich alerts, update Jira tickets, and run Python scripts. Keep lists 110+ providers and bidirectional integrations across monitoring, incident response, ticketing, source control, change management, and CMDB systems. It can be self-hosted or used as managed cloud; self-hosting options include local setup or Kubernetes with Helm or Docker Compose. The Enterprise plan includes alert correlation based on past incidents and a knowledge base. Growth costs $199 a month and includes 200 deduplicated alerts monthly, unlimited ingested alerts, 100 workflows, 20 integrations, 10 users, and 14 days of data retention. Startup is listed for personal or non-commercial projects, with five workflows, one integration, and one user. Keep is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel.
