Overview

Bonjoro addresses two related needs: sending welcome, thank-you, and check-in videos, and gathering video or text testimonials for websites, social media, or email. That pairing suits teams that want customer communication to feel personal while also collecting material for promotion. It is less compelling if the need is only occasional video recording, since much of its value lies in repeatable workflows and publishing feedback.

Key features

Messages can be one-to-one or one-to-many, with custom templates, calls to action, and embedded apps. This makes the product useful for both individualized follow-up and standardized outreach. Template allowances are limited on the entry paid messaging plans: Starter includes two and Pro includes five, so teams with many distinct message types may find those tiers restrictive.

Workflows can connect to a CRM through native integrations, Zapier, or Make, or start from a CSV contact upload. Bonjoro advertises connections to more than 1,000 tools, naming services such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Shopify, ActiveCampaign, Intercom, and Mailchimp. That breadth can help teams fit video into existing customer processes; CSV import is a sensible fallback when a direct connection is unavailable.

The testimonial product collects both video and text feedback. Its free tier allows 10 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, one website embed, and unlimited requests, while paid tiers increase video quotas and embed counts and remove Bonjoro branding. This gives a small team a way to try collection and publishing, but the free video quota is modest for sustained campaigns.

Mobile recording is supported through iOS and Android apps. Bonjoro also offers engagement tracking, email follow-up, and follow-up workflows, which make it more suitable for ongoing customer contact than a tool focused only on recording and sharing.

Pricing

Bonjoro separates video messaging from testimonials, so the two sets of plans should not be treated as one combined allowance. The page shows a free video-messaging plan, paid messaging tiers, and separate testimonial tiers. The free messaging limit is inconsistent: the comparison section says up to 50 videos, while the top card says unlimited videos. Confirm that cap before relying on the free plan for ongoing use.

Video messaging: Free is 0.00 USD per free, billed free forever with no credit card required. It includes CRM integrations, unlimited screen recording, iOS and Android apps, and Bonjoro branding; the comparison section caps messaging at 50 videos. This is a useful way to try the workflow, but branding and the video cap make it a poor fit for a high-volume or polished customer program.

Starter costs 15.00 USD per month on annual pricing and includes two message templates, branding, CTA buttons, unlimited CRM workflows, and one-to-one training. It suits a small operation that needs connected workflows but can work within a narrow template set. Pro costs 29.00 USD per month on annual pricing and adds unlimited branded videos, workspaces, video scheduling, and five templates, making it a better fit for teams with more recurring outreach. Both cards advertise savings of up to 40% with annual pricing and offer a free 14-day trial.

Grrrowth is 79.00 USD per month on annual pricing and includes three users. It is the more relevant messaging tier for a small team that needs multiple seats; the page also advertises savings of up to 40% on annual pricing. Company pricing starts at 399.00 USD per month and includes 20 users, which is aimed at larger teams. Enterprise has custom pricing and includes 10 users. Since the included seats differ, compare team size as well as price before choosing a tier.

Testimonials: Free is 0.00 USD per free and includes 10 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, one website embed, custom styling, unlimited requests, and no video time limit. Pro is 20.00 USD per month, with 250 video testimonials, 10 embeds, one custom domain, and branding removal. Growth is 79.00 USD per month, with 2,500 video testimonials, 20 embeds, three custom domains, and branding removal. Both paid testimonial cards advertise annual savings of over 30%; their quotas make Pro a plausible fit for a smaller publishing program and Growth for a larger one. The 14-day trial is offered on the video-messaging Starter, Pro, and Grrrowth plans.

Platforms

Bonjoro runs on the web, iOS, and Android, and offers an extension. Mobile apps are useful for recording messages away from a desk, while the web version supports teams building workflows and managing testimonial publishing.

Who it's for

Bonjoro is suited to coaches and consultants, ecommerce sellers, nonprofits, SaaS teams, and universities or colleges that want to add personal video to welcome, thank-you, or check-in communication. Its testimonial tools also suit organizations that need a direct route from customer feedback to website embeds or social and email sharing. Teams that do not expect to use customer video regularly may find the separate plan structure and workflow features more than they need.

Pros and cons

Pro: CRM integrations, Zapier, Make, and CSV uploads offer several ways to connect video outreach to customer workflows.
Pro: Video and text testimonials can be collected and published through embeds or sharing, giving customer feedback a practical destination.
Pro: iOS and Android apps support mobile recording, and the free messaging tier includes CRM integrations and unlimited screen recording.
Con: The free messaging video limit conflicts across the pricing page, so it is difficult to plan around without confirming the allowance.
Con: Starter and Pro limit message templates to two and five, respectively, which may constrain teams with varied outreach.
Con: Messaging and testimonials have separate plans and quotas, so teams using both should budget and track each product independently.

Verdict

Choose Bonjoro if customer videos are a recurring part of your outreach and you also want a built-in way to gather and publish testimonials. Its CRM workflow choices, mobile recording, and paired messaging and testimonial tools make it a practical fit for customer-focused teams. Look elsewhere if you need only occasional recordings, or if a clear, predictable free video quota is essential; the conflicting messaging limit and separate product quotas complicate planning.
