BookHive
BookHive is a web service combining an AI-narrated audiobook library for readers with free publishing tools for writers. Writers can upload manuscripts in PDF, EPUB, or TXT format, and BookHive generates narration without a recording studio. Its free Writers plan allows unlimited story uploads and includes AI narration; writer onboarding is currently by invitation. BookHive says all reader subscription revenue is distributed to writers according to listening time. Readers can access sample chapters without an account, with filters including Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Thriller, Crime, and Literary Fiction. The sample library lists nine chapters and describes a catalog containing 15M+ words. A Reader Subscription costs $12.99 a month and provides unlimited library access, streaming, and offline downloads. Readers can cancel from account settings. BookHive states that card information is encrypted and lists [email protected] for questions and subscription help.
