Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a homepage and bookmark manager for finding, saving, arranging and sharing online resources. Its customizable Webmix grids can hold links to websites, tools and files, as well as widgets; users can share a Webmix by URL or embed code. Supported content includes embedded videos, RSS feeds, weather widgets and document links. For educators, Learning Paths arrange embeddable resources into tile-based lessons with activities such as multiple-choice and open questions. Schools can connect OneRoster systems such as Clever and Classlink to sync classes and student rosters. Symbaloo describes its education tools for classrooms, schools, districts and virtual libraries. It says student data is generally not collected or stored and that it does not sell personal student information; it also describes security controls and COPPA-compliant Webspaces with child-safe mode. A free, ad-supported plan is available, alongside paid yearly plans. Symbaloo runs on the web and as a browser extension, but its mobile apps have been removed from app stores; the website can be added to a phone home screen.
